New York, NY—February 25, 2019—Pride Global has announced that its CEO and Founder, Leo Russell, will be a featured speaker at the 2019 Executive Forum North America: Breakthrough Leadership, taking place February 25 – 28 at the JW Marriott in Austin, TX.

Hosted by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the Executive Forum is the pre-eminent annual event for CEOs, owners, and senior-level staffing executives across industry sectors and sizes. The conference—now in its 28th year—connects top leadership from across the staffing world in a platform dedicated to furthering actionable insights and advancing knowledge for business success in the industry. The CEO will address what sets Pride Global’s culture apart from other staffing industry firms during the forum’s Executive Interviews session on Tuesday, February 26, at 5pm.

Pride Global (f/k/a PRIDE Technologies) was founded in 1983 with a focus on providing IT services to financial institutions. Over the years, Russell diversified the core functions of Pride Global to include human capital solutions including vendor management, payroll and passthrough services, business process optimization, leadership development, and complete staffing services for both direct hire and contingent labor solutions. Currently, Pride Global employs three thousand associates over a broad geographic area with offices located nationally and internationally in Canada, the United Kingdom, and India. As featured in Crain’s New York Business, Russell has grown Pride Global to be the largest minority-owned vendor management and staffing firm in addition to being the 5th largest minority-owned company in the New York Area. Before founding Pride Global, he’s held previous senior leadership positions at companies including Young & Rubicam and Lehman Brothers. Russell received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Claremont Men’s College and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.

“This year’s Executive Forum North America takes aim at empowering high-performance executive leadership and breaking through barriers to personal and organizational growth,” said Barry Asin, SIA President. “Our 2019 speakers give us a lens through which to view industry trends, staffing leadership, and the critical decisions, challenges, issues, and opportunities facing leaders today. I am excited for the energy, the expertise, and the full conference program, and look forward to welcoming attendees in Austin.”
